    Job Summary

    The Supervisor, Commerce Media reports into the Director, Commerce Media and is responsible for the successful delivery of client's Retail Planning & Optimization as part of the account team, with a direct responsibility for successful management of retail campaign deliverables.

    This role offers a hands-on opportunity for someone with a passion for Retail Media & Shopper Marketing to gain experience and grow relevant knowledge and skills in the discipline of ecommerce. You will be working within multiple retail digital channels - depending on the engagement - to plan and deliver strategic and tactical campaigns/programs that drive measurable performance improvement to retail sales, ROAS and other business KPIs.

    As part of Horizon Media, you will also be collaborating not only with the Night Market team, but with other Horizon Media teams as well as partners and vendors (e.g. branding agencies, marketing platform vendors) and the client. As such, leadership, communication, organization, relationship-building and teamwork are all important elements of this role.

    Also, as part of a startup within a larger company and working in the highly dynamic field of retail, you will be working within a fast-paced, result-oriented environment where you will contribute to problem-solving, hands-on execution, driving innovation and given the opportunity to wear multiple hats in achieving the goals or our clients and our business.

    What You'll Do

    40% Client Engagement Delivery Management
    • Collaborate with the Director, Media Investment Science to identify client needs, define deliverables and develop a delivery plan to ensure the retail program is a success
    • Responsible for on time, on-budget delivery of the retail program at the expected quality of deliverables, with the support of the Specialist, eCommerce Media Science for project management and creation of deliverables
    • Coordinate and collaborate with other teams as needed at Night Market, Horizon, the client's partners and vendors and the client to deliver the retail campaign/program
    • Communicate any campaign/retailer needs and status with team and client (e.g., status reports, escalations) and participate in the presentation of deliverables to the client for review and approval
    • Competently use of Prisma, Strata/FreeWheel, SBMS, Media Tools, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and other tools as need to support team and retailer management
    • Help with any administrative tasks related to the account, e.g., inputs to contracting, billing
    30% - Solution Development and Planning
    • Ability to create and manage dedicated pivots to report dedicated data for the client; inclusive of creating Pivot Charts to detect trends, insights and learnings that may improve future retail campaigns.
    • Develop and communicate recommendations for the client (in Excel, PowerPoint or Word)
    • Develop roadmap for execution of solutions over a period of time, based on identified requirements
    • Lead meetings as needed with client teams, partners, and other vendors to gather information and/or collaborate on defining and planning solutions
    30% - Execution Support/Management
    • Use necessary platforms, such as Strata/FreeWheel and Media Tools, to support delivery of the solutions above with support of the Specialist, ecommerce Media Science, learning new platforms or platform capabilities where needed
    • Lead the effective delivery of any creative work needed for the digital channels in scope, in collaboration with the creative team, account team, vendors and client
    • Own analytics and reporting to measure the impact of delivered solutions over time and to identify opportunities for further improvements and optimization
    • Engage with the Retailers during the campaign to ensure optimizations are being addressed and implemented
    • Help identify, troubleshoot, or escalate as needed any issues that emerge during the campaign to ensure effective delivery
    • Responsible for activating coupons/incentives and in-store tactical campaigns with vendors that align with larger retail initiatives led by the client
    Preferred Skills & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g. business, marketing, advertising, digital marketing
    • 3 to 5 years of experience with shopper marketing and retail ecommerce with an emphasis on performance-driven programs, including client relationship and/or account management experience
    • Experience with fundamental retail ecommerce principles and willingness and drive to increase skills and expertise in this function both through hands-on learning as well as additional training
    • An analytical mindset, detail oriented and comfortable with business analysis processes and frameworks and competent in working with data to uncover insights and inform and support recommendations, including competency in working with Excel and other data tools like comScore and Google Analytics
    • Previous Experience working with shopper marketing and retail ecommerce is highly desired
    • A team player with solid communication, collaboration and relationship management skills who is able to work with people across different teams and functions
    • Comfortable in a startup environment: hard working, resourceful, flexible, resilient, positive, able to handle imperfect information, real-time problem solving and rapid change
    Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
    • Training and certification in some relevant types platforms mentioned above preferred
    • Willingness and desire to get trained and certified on additional platforms is required

    Salary Range
    $100, $120,000.00

    A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
