The Senior Pricing Analyst is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of data and the tools available for managing pricing while also supporting their team in accomplishing assigned tasks.

    Job Requirements

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Provide disciplined analytics support through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, and cost/benefit analysis to optimize pricing across customers and product categories.
    • Lead and support pricing initiatives that includes determining prices, standardizing customer discounting, supporting customer pricing contracts and develop models for price forecasting.
    • Develop price sensitivity models and reporting tools that enable the company to quickly identify and respond to changing market conditions and customer behavior trends.
    • Partner with Divisional Leaders to drive pricing strategies, analyze market trends, incorporate competitive market data, and plan for future pricing actions.
    • Create and monitor tracking measures regarding the performance of pricing actions.
    • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in pricing by making recommendation to change current processes and strategies.
    • Ability to work effectively in both individual and group settings.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics or Finance or 5 years of related experience.
    • 3 years of experience in pricing, financial accounting or business planning desired.
    • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to prepare and analyze data
    • Statistical Modeling preferred but not required
    • Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
