Position Summary
This is a full-time onsite role for a Project Manager of Facility/Utility Services who will manage facilities in Paducah, KY, and Portsmouth, OH
The Project Manager will be Responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of utility services, water systems, wastewater systems, dry air plants, nitrogen systems, power supplier purchasing, distribution and transmission, street lighting operations and maintenance, natural gas distribution, rail systems, site-wide radio systems, paid utility services, steam and hot water systems, chilled water systems, and electrical services
The responsibilities include operation, maintenance, repair, compliance, coordination, improvement projects, and ensuring reliable supply, functionality, and regulatory compliance
The Project Manager also provides technical and administrative support, manages permitting processes, tracks costs, maintains drawings, and ensures regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 6 to 8 years of experience, or a master's and 4 to 6 years of experience.
Career level experience (Department of Energy a plus) with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Proven experience as a project manager, preferably in utility services, water systems, wastewater treatment, steam and hot water systems, natural gas services, rail system management, radio system management, or electrical services.
Strong knowledge of the respective field and its maintenance requirements (utility systems, water systems, wastewater treatment, steam and hot water systems, natural gas services, rail systems, radio systems, electrical services).
Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreement policies and regulations.Familiarity with contractual agreements, regulatory compliance, permitting processes, and safety standards specific to the respective field.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards relevant to the specific field (water systems, wastewater treatment, steam and hot water systems, natural gas services, rail systems, radio systems, electrical services).
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a public trust clearance or higher.
U.Scitizenship is required.
A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle for site visits, meetings, and other project-related travel
