JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Job Duties
Assist Full-Time employees with the following duties:

PREPARE, COMBINE, SEASON, and/or COOK food served in University dining halls according to standardized recipes, methods and/or procedures. MAKE advance preparation for food items as required.
PERFORM necessary operations to prepare food items, utilizing the proper food production equipment.
DISPOSE of leftovers as directed.
MAINTAIN clean work area and ENSURE general cleanliness of equipment, FOLLOW cleaning schedules as established in the work unit.
CHECK equipment to insure proper working conditions and cleanliness; REPORT malfunctions.
ENSURE that menu items for the serving lines are maintained at proper temperature and freshness and that adequate amounts are available for students and guests.
PERFORM other duties related or similar to the type described above.
