1st Shift: FULL-TIME

Pay: $20.00/hr

Valtir is hiring a Shipping/Receiving team member to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by receiving storing and shipping materials in accordance with established procedures.

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Prepare and package material for outbound shipments
• Preform all required check on inbound material, properly stores material
• Complete all required paperwork / inspections
• Load / Unload trucks safely, operating a forklifts
• May operate fabrication equipment such as rolling & curving machines
• Accurately count and check required materials
• Understanding 5S policies and procedures and meets/exceeds a5S and safety standards
• Understanding quality policies/procedures and ensures quality of product meets standards during preparation and packaging material
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Working Environment:

• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant. Dependable job attendance is expected.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial of warehouse experience
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
• Positive "Can Do" attitude, able to weather setbacks and cultural resistance.
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to establish working relationships with all staff including customers/drivers
• Reliable and predictable attendance is a must
