What the Position is About: - Lead estimating and design teams through the preconstruction process
- Responsible for producing conceptual estimates and reviewing detailed estimates
- Heavily involved in the value analysis and onboarding of subcontractors
- Anticipate outcomes and manage risks of a project
- Develop and manage the preconstruction and design schedule
- Develop and manage profitability strategy
- Create and execute MBE/geographic plans
- Create and manage financial communication plan with client
The Right Candidate Will Have: - Project management and/or estimating experience within the construction industry is required
- Experience managing a team through the preconstruction and estimating process
- In-depth knowledge of buildings and construction
- Team-player with great communication and leadership skills
- Strategic skillset, someone who can recognize problems and provide and implement solutions
