The Activity Assistant works in accordance with established policies and procedures under instruction from the Director of Resident Services This position implements a varied activity program designed to meet the physical emotional and spiritual needs of the Atlantic Shores residents They have a patient/resident centered care focus are comfortable working with a diverse group of coworkers A willingness to learn make conscious choice to be positive daily is a mustQualifications
- Able to act in resident's best interest make responsible choices decisions
- Ability lead activities motivate residents fellow team members their involvement planned social events activities
- Able handle multiple priorities timely manner
- Excellent communication skills written verbal ability facilitate small group presentations
