We are looking for a Limited Maintenance Electrician to join our team
General Position Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for the continuing operation of production and support equipment throughout the facility, including electrical, boiler, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. Experience with troubleshooting automation system breakdowns and possess the ability and have the desire to perform all maintenance related tasks whether they ne mechanical or electrical. Must incorporate a proactive, predictive approach to downtime elimination. Minor fabrication, welding, production equipment troubleshooting, able to work off a wiring diagram, attention to detail a must, able to work in a team environment. Adhere to all proper PPE requirements and guidelines. Work four (4) ten-hour shifts Monday- Thursday and overtime as required. This is a full-time position in a very stable environment. Excellent benefit package, paid holidays, 401K.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
· Complete predictive and preventative maintenance, changeover, set-up adjustments on mixing, web handling, and presses.
· Approach equipment failures with a sense of urgency.
· Active participation in company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) program.
· Maintain equipment documentation, to include service histories, specifications and contacts, and predictive service schedules.
· Ensure the continuing operation of production and support equipment throughout the facility, including boiler, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using schematics and technical drawings.
· Good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (Boilers a plus)
· Support your customer in meeting their operating requirements.
· Any other duties as deemed necessary by your supervisor.
Position Demands:
· Good interpersonal communication, customer service, and time management skills essential.
· Ability to read, write and understand English required.
· Physical ability to hear, to see, to engage in repetitive motion of hands and wrists, some lateral movement of body, some bending, twisting and climbing stairs, standing/walking 94% and sitting 6% of the working day.
· Lift up to 60 pounds independently.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by operation or maintenance needs.
Education and/or Experience:
· Possess an LME license or better, or be able to obtain within 90 days.
· Pneumatic and hydraulic training or experience preferred.
· Fabrication and or welding experience a plus.
· Boiler operation and refrigeration training or experience a plus.
