- Review design requirements, drawings, and parts lists for manufacturability
- Create processes to meet design and workmanship requirements
- Evaluate tooling needs and availability
- Assists Cable manufacturing's First Time Build team in building initial unit builds and prototype cable assemblies; updated processes as needed
- Reviews problem reports; make improvements and corrections to process as warranted
- Provide input on Engineering Changes Requests; implement changes into processes
- Determine root cause of failures and drive corrective actions
- Collects and analyzes quality related data and offers corrective action(s) to help eliminate future defects from occurring
- Participates in process improvement activities
- Writes and updates workmanship standards
- Provide input on engineering specifications
- Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements
- Ensures company financial goals are met through timely completion of processes, projects, and other initiatives

- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years relevant experience required, or Graduate Degree and 2 years relevant experience. Strong preference given to degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (such as Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of cable manufacturing techniques and IPC/WHMA-A-620, class 3 workmanship requirements.
- Advanced technical and operational knowledge and experience of manufacturing of highly technical devices.
- Experience with SAP ME, SAP ECC and Teamcenter.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend schematics, wire lists, wire diagrams, and blueprints.
- Due to the nature of our work, this position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
