Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Manager in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at AdventHealth. As a leader in patient care and operations, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of patient services and ensuring high standards of quality and safety. You will mentor and precept new staff while providing hands-on training feedback fostering professional growth and development.
Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods address any complications develop implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access infusion therapy provide patient education on venous access infusion therapy monitor performance nursing staff provide feedback conduct appraisals implement improvement plans ensure clinical professional standards met lead quality improvement initiatives analyze data identify areas improve implement strategies enhance patient care operational efficiency communicate clearly effectively with patients families healthcare team members coordinate care mentor precept new staff hands-on training feedback foster professional growth development ensure compliance regulatory accrediting hospital policies maintain high standards patient services safety.
