Our firm is seeking a senior attorney to join our Georgia office. This role offers a motivated and ambitious attorney the opportunity to lead and develop a team of associate attorneys throughout the life cycle of cases. This person will also have the unique opportunity to help grow our firm's footprint in the Southeast.

Responsibilities:

• Handling cases from inception through resolution with minimal supervision
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Negotiate settlements
• Prepare consistent reporting for clients detailing significant case developments
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of associate attorneys

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice and in good standing in the state of Georgia
• 8+ years of defense litigation experience
• Experience with trucking and transportation law
• Prior management and/or leadership experience
• 1st Chair trial experience highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
