    Physician/MD qualifications required) Hospitalist- Internal Medicine - This southwest Georgia Hospital system is seeking several board certified|board eligible Internal Medicine physicians to practice Hospitalist medicine at their campus in Americus, GA.

    The hospitalists will experience a broad pathology of patients and physician activities that includes patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital care.

    As expected, hospitalists manage patients throughout the continuum of hospital care, often seeing patients in the ER, admitting them to inpatient units, following them as necessary into the critical care unit, and organizing post-acute care and transfer back to their primary care physician.

    15 shifts|180 hours per month in a flexible schedule, extra shifts available at $175|hour.


    • Days and nights needed.
    • 1 Hospitalist on at night. No APPs to supervise.
    • Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Nephrology, part time Pulmonology, part-time Hem|Onc
    • Open ICU, procedures optional – EICU coming in early 2024 with 24|7 tele-support from Board Certified Critical Care Intensivists, vital signs monitored, etc.
    Relocation (Reimb|IRS guidelines for direct relo exp up to) $15,000
    Excess Shifts $175|hr
