- You will lead all domestic transportation and fulfillment operations. This means carrier negotiations, warehouse coordination, routing decisions, packing standards, and cost control. You know what truck a shipment needs. You know how to negotiate with a warehouse. You know what it costs to move product efficiently, and you hold vendors accountable to that standard.
- You will manage relationships with international freight partners and customs processes. You won't need hand-holding on how imports move, what documentation customs requires, or how to navigate a freight delay. This knowledge is non-negotiable.
- You will own the forecasting function, translating sales signals, channel data, and historical trends into inventory decisions. Multi eCommerce channel complexity (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Omni) is your operating environment, not a learning curve.
- You track landed cost, chargeback exposure, returns impact, and 3PL efficiency with the same rigor a finance leader tracks P&L. Every operational decision connects back to margin.
- You understand retailer requirements and build processes that prevent chargebacks before they happen.
- You treat returns as a cost center with a lever, not an afterthought.
- You will manage and lead a broad logistics team- including our already existing team and onboarding new positions. You have done this before. You've managed people across functions of eCommerce logistics, not just one specialized logistics component.
- You build the dashboards and cadences that keep leadership informed and hold the team accountable.
- You have held a prominent role in domestic, eCommerce based logistics for a minimum of 2 years, overseeing a team that spans multiple logistics functions. Not one lane. Not one specialty. The full picture.
- You've owned or significantly influenced supply chain financial performance. You build systems and processes before scaling teams. You use data to drive decisions. You communicate clearly across finance, marketing, operations, and executive leadership.
- You've worked with international shipping and understand customs, freight forwarding, and import compliance at a working level. You may not be a customs broker, but you know what questions to ask and what problems to anticipate.
- Multi-brand experience is not required. That is trainable. What is not trainable is knowing how to negotiate with a warehouse, understanding what documentation a customs clearance needs, or knowing which carrier fits a shipment. You come in with that knowledge already.

Head of Logistics - Howell Township - Chai Vision
Description
Job Title: Head of Logistics - (Ecommerce Logistics)Department: Operations
Location: Onsite, flexible - Howell, NJ
Job Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday
About Chai Vision:
At Chai Vision, we don't just sell products - we create brands that inspire, improve lives, and make a meaningful impact on communities around the world.
Since 2018, we've been redefining eCommerce by launching high-quality, innovative brands across multiple industries, including kids and toys, home furniture, fitness and wellness, pets, camping, and supplements.
Headquartered in New Jersey with offices across the globe, Chai Vision is built on in-house innovation, thoughtful craftsmanship, and uncompromising product standards. Every brand we build is driven by a passion for excellence, a deep understanding of consumer needs, and a commitment to making everyday life better.
We are a growth-focused, execution-driven organization operating across major retail and eCommerce channels. Our team combines strategic thinking, operational discipline, and data-driven decision-making to build scalable, lasting brands.
Join us on this journey. At Chai Vision, we're not just selling - we're making a difference.
About the Role:
Chai Vision is entering its next phase of scale, and we are hiring a strategic, systems-oriented eCommerce Logistics leader to own our end-to-end physical operations.
As Head of Logistics, you will lead the full flow of product for our eCommerce company- from inbound freight and inventory planning to transportation, retail compliance, and returns optimization. With additional focuses on Forecasting & Supply Chain, you will build structure, create visibility, and ensure our logistics team drives profitability, efficiency, and long-term scalability.
This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on margin performance, forecasting accuracy, and operational excellence across all ecommerce and retail sales channels.
What You'll Own:
Domestic Logistics
You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Data, and Technology. Externally, you will manage 3PL partners, carriers, freight forwarders, and retail platforms. You treat vendor relationships as strategic partnerships, not transactional arrangements.
Tools & Environment:
Sellercloud, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel. ERP systems, BI dashboards, and inventory platforms are part of the daily environment.
Why This Role Matters:
Our company is in a growth phase that requires a logistics leader who can build infrastructure, not just maintain it. If you are energized by ownership, accountability, and building systems that create measurable impact, this role gives you both the influence and the runway to do it.
Why Work With Us:
Join a fast-growing ecommerce company where your ideas matter and your growth is part of our mission. At Chai Vision, we're scaling quickly, building boldly, and redefining what a modern ecommerce team looks like.
We move fast, collaborate deeply, and give our people the space and support they need to thrive. Along with a culture built on innovation and teamwork, we offer benefits that reward your hard work and fuel your growth.
Here's what you can look forward to:
