    Job Summary:


    This is a full-time administrative position in Kingsburg, Ca, responsible for overseeing capital projects to ensure projects are delivered on time and under budget and will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

    This role will be a key leader from project inception through funding and execution and will collaborate through all project phases with cross-functional teams at the facility and/or the corporate office such as safety, operations, finance, food safety and quality assurance including technical services, maintenance, engineering, and environmental services.

    This role will lead or support the bidding process to select contractors and equipment vendors which will provide the best value and quality.

    This role will generate and select specifications, coordinate procurement activities, and make fact-based decisions during execution to achieve the project deliverables regarding production throughput, product quality/specification adherence, functionality, budget control and schedule.

    This individual will provide leadership for the preventative maintenance and upkeep of the plant's infrastructure equipment, as well as support various CI activities and initiatives across the organization as needed.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage capital projects
    • Use Early Management tools to achieve vertical start-ups of new equipment on time & under budget.
    • Troubleshoot process and operations problems utilizing structured problem-solving techniques which reveal the root cause of the problem.
    • Track plant infrastructure equipment reliability programs - support, develop and drive productivity improvements
    • Oversee the validation qualification of new equipment.
    • Confers with Management, Production, and Marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
    • Responsible for the review of designs to ensure manufacturability and verify costs to meet project requirements.
    • Responsible for assisting Plant Leadership Team and other Operational personnel in the development of procedures to maximize output, improve quality, and reduce overall cost.
    Requirements

    REQIURED EDUCATION/


    SKILLS:

    • BS Degree (engineering preferred)
    • Several years of engineering project management experience
    • This individual MUST have strong technical aptitude and be very proficient with Microsoft Word, MS Project, Power Point, and Excel.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD
    • This person will need to possess proven problem-solving tools/methods, goal setting, planning, and training skills.
    • Strong Time Management skills.
    • A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others. Focused target driven with a positive, can-do attitude
    • Must possess strong communication skills and be comfortable with facilitating teams/groups.
    • Organizational respect and actively promoting a positive attitude are a must for this position.
    • Ability to manage multiple assigned projects at once
    • Strong background in food, beverage, and CPG manufacturing
    • Strong developed knowledge of OSHA, and USDA requirements.
    • Sound knowledge of system controls and sensors for manufacturing processes.
    • Strong background and knowledge of the construction trades and project management
    • Proven leadership experience
    Salary Description

    $90,000-$100,000
