    Description


    This position is the PKI Analyst for the Enterprise PKI effort for the US Army and its initiatives on behalf of the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Deputy Chief of Staff DCS G6.

    The ACyS Program (Army Cybersecurity Program) goal is to integrate cross Army Cybersecurity initiatives to modernize the Army's approach to Security at large.

    This organization concerns itself with Enterprise implementations of technologies and policies that provide core cybersecurity services down to the tactical edge.

    This Team will champion and chair efforts around PKI, Enterprise ICAM, Zero Trust, RMF, and Cybersecurity for the Army, representing the OCIO and DCS G6.

    who can look across multiple systems of Identity management and access control, and determine the best possible implementation of PKI for the Army.

    The Army utilizes a large number of distributed and non-integrated identity management solutions, and this analyst will need to interface with the organizations that control and operate them.

    In the Army's pursuit of a single integrated PKI and ICAM structure that leverages Zero Trust Principles, this analyst will be the key technical resource that looks across many systems to determine the best way to utilize and integrate them.

    They won't have to do as much actual configuration so much as conceptually integrate existing and net new technologies into a wholistic delivery.


    Additional Customer Description:

    As the lead for the Army's Cybersecurity Program, the CIO and DCS G6 mission is to integrate efforts across the Secretariat and Army Staff (ARSTAF) to provide policy, oversight, and compliance guidance by the CIO, implementation, execution and synchronization guidance by the G6 in promoting and maintaining cyber security for the Army.

    The Army's networks and infrastructure play a pivotal role in allowing the Army to complete its mission on and off the battlefield.

    It is essential that the Army protect its mission-critical operational technology and information technology from adversaries that are constantly trying to exploit vulnerabilities in the network architecture to cause denial of services or exploit data to gain an advantage.

    Network outages or data tampering within these networks and systems could result in confusion, delayed decision making and the loss of resources (equipment and human life).

    The Army's ability to implement secure solutions to protect its networks is paramount, thereby providing warfighters and Army leaders with the right information at the right time and at the right place.

    By ensuring availability, authentication, integrity, non-repudiation, and confidentiality, the CIO and G6 supports the Army's goal to improve the network defense posture.- Security+ (Current and good standing)- Knowledge of Active Directory in large scale environments, particularly in DoD and the Army- Knowledge of new technical solutions for PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), ICAM (Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management), and Zero Trust- Ability to reference and explain NIST principles behind identity and PKI/ICAMGridiron IT Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
