- Master all set-up procedures and functions of molding machines.
- Set up and troubleshoot presses using established process control methods.
- Prepare both basic and intricate molds, including those with multiple core pulls and auxiliary hydraulics.
- Configure and troubleshoot secondary equipment.
- Ensure presses are operating to prescribed standards by monitoring press cycles.
- Take corrective action if jobs deviate from standard cycles.
- Proficient in setting limit switches, timers, and process controls on presses.
- Knowledgeable in IQMS system, accurately completing IQ transactions.
- Change end of arm tooling and load robot program into press.
- Conduct basic robotic troubleshooting on end of arm tooling.
- Conduct part measurements at start-up.
- Conduct periodic inspection rounds when necessary.
- Demonstrate comprehension of RJG technology fundamentals via e-dart control.
- Transfer material and parts to the warehouse using hand cart and/or forklift.
- Perform material handling tasks when required.
- Execute cleanup duties and return supplies to designated locations.
- Operate presses as needed.
- Participate in special project teams and training sessions as needed.
- Participate in classes related to materials, statistical process control (SPC), and basic processing skills.
- Complete essential inventory transactions.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
- Meet productivity standards and strive for increased productivity.
- Interpret blueprint specifications, set-up documentation, control plans, and manufacturing instructions.
- Use various inspection equipment to verify product quality and analyze statistical data.
- Instruct coworkers in machine set-up and operation.
- Operate overhead hoist/crane for material positioning.
- Provide support to engineering function by troubleshooting various engineering processes.
- Observe machine operation for defects or malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
- Perform minor machine maintenance tasks.
- Position, adjust, and secure stock materials or work pieces.
- Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions.
- Record operational data such as pressure readings and feed rates.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

- Education/Training - High school diploma plus 5 years of related experience/training or equivalent.
- Production and Processing - Familiarity with raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs in Injection Molding.
- Mechanical - Understanding of machines, tools, repairs, maintenance in Injection Molding, and experience with measurement devices.
- Proficient in Complex Problem Solving.
- Skilled in Machine Operation, monitoring machines for optimal functioning.
- Quality Control Analysis expertise, inspecting molded parts for defects.
- Strong Critical Thinking abilities.
- Control Precision - Quickly and accurately adjust machine controls.
- Static Strength - Ability to exert maximum muscle force.
- Read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively.
