    We are currently looking for a **Cook** for Christopher Place Employment Academy and Our Daily Bread, programs in Baltimore City. Christopher Place Employment Academy and Our Daily Bread are located in Our Daily Bread Employment Center and provides hot, nutritious meals for anyone in need every day of the year.

    **SCHEDULE:**

    **Monday - Friday: 2pm - 7pm**

    *****Due to essential nature of business, must have reliable means of transportation and be available for work, regardless of weather conditions. *****

    **Cook Responsibilities:**

    Prepare meals for Christopher Place Employment Academy clients

    Plan menus, ensure apportionments and good nutrition, and ensure utilization of donated food.

    Train, coach and monitor Christopher Place Employment Academy clients and kitchen volunteers

    Prepare and serve meals for Our Daily Bread clients in conjunction with volunteers

    Ensure food safety compliance

    Receive and properly store food donations

    Clean kitchen areas and equipment

    Maintain records and statistics

    Assist Dining Operations Manager with food inventory

    Perform other duties as assigned

    **Cook Requirements:**

    High School Diploma or GED.

    1 - 2 years cooking experience in commercial kitchen/restaurant environment.

    Must have valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification or obtain it within six months of employment, and must maintain certification to remain in position thereafter

    Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

    Must have the ability to maintain proper food safety requirements and standards.
