- Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
- Responsible for working with other plant departments and corporate sourcing regarding non-conforming raw materials to identify, segregate, count, issue hold-tags, document, and communicate status
- Responsible for developing, editing, training of raw material acceptance criteria
- Responsible for developing, editing, training of department Procedures and Technical Sheets
- Participate in activities related to raw material projects and new process development projects
- Conduct specialized testing using laboratory equipment such as sieve analyses, color spectrometer, freeze-thaw, pigment qualification testing, compression testing
- Participate in the oversight of the CAPA data per instructions from the Quality Supervisor
- Accurately collect and manage data in Word, Excel, Access
- Build partnerships, contribute to team success and initialize action
- Performs other related duties as assigned by department and plant management
- Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

JOB SUMMARY
The Inspector-QA supports production activities through oversight of routine activities associated with; process control auditing; supplier quality and raw material identification, tagging, tracking; laboratory testing; data processing; specification writing, editing, publishing, and training. The Quality Control Auditor is a quality leader who must be able to identify and monitor several departmental processes consecutively.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The base pay range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00. This Range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and another form of compensation may be provided as a part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).
