Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine of the MetroHealth System, a principal teaching hospital of the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine, is seeking APP to join our growing team at our community hospitals.
Qualified APRN candidates should have FM certification. PA candidates should have prior emergency medicine experience or rotations.
Prior experience in an emergency department is preferred.
Providers can expect to work rotating shifts with varying hours including weekends / evenings. Candidates must have experience working as a provider.
Delivers direct patient care consistent with the advanced practice registered nurse's or PA's education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues.
MSN or grandfathered under Ohio Revised Code Graduate of an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Ohio Certificate of Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty or Physician's Assistant graduated from an accredited program and currently certified to practice.
Obtains other advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire Meets the requirements/qualifications for clinical privileges in the specialty/department with The MetroHealth System and must report to Medical Staff Office at time of hire to apply for clinical privileges Maintains a standard care arrangement and renews/signs it as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing Note:
Other department specific qualifications for providers will be addressed through the Certificate of Authority and credentialing process.
