    The Company:

    Bridge enables financial advisors and family offices to access private investments, track documents, and manage their data in a centralized platform. By eliminating the need to chase opportunities and information across countless, disparate sources, we streamline the management of private investments - saving our customers time and money.

    Bridge is co-founded by Alex Goodwin (ex-Leonard Green, Audax, HBS '24) and Ayo Ekhator (ex-Blackstone, HBS '23), two former private equity investors who experienced this issue firsthand.

    The Opportunity:

    Our promise to you as Head of Engineering is an opportunity that blends impact, innovation, and the chance to sculpt the technological bedrock of a burgeoning fintech disruptor. From Day 1, your vision and expertise will intersect directly with our founding team. You will work directly with us to help shape the direction of the company, play a key role in establishing the product roadmap, and lay the groundwork for our culture.

    We're a pre-seed company backed by numerous family offices and senior industry leaders across alternative investments. In just a few months since launch, we've served a handful of paying customers with our first product, a tech-enabled two-sided marketplace connecting investors with alternative investment opportunities. And that's just the beginning. With your lead, we'll expand our platform with a cutting-edge suite of workflow management tools, developed in concert with design partners eager for the innovation we are pursuing.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Own the development of our platform. Architect and build resilient and scalable solutions to support automated retrieval and delivery of documents and data between web portals, APIs, email systems, SFTP servers, etc.
    • Work closely with the founding team to shape and execute the product roadmap. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, understand feature requirements, and develop new features in Bridge's core product suite, ensuring alignment with our long-term vision.
    • Guide our engineering team of 2 to meet technical standards and deadlines.
    • Implement and maintain engineering best practices (software design patterns, CI/CD, documentation, testing, etc.).
    • Develop, test, and document business-critical features and applications.
    • Implement data security best practices at all levels of the application stack.
