    Axle is seekinga highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and detail-orientedTalent Acquisition Specialist to join our vibrant team at Bethesda, MD.

    Responsibilities:

    • Be responsible forthe full recruiting life cycle for all open positions both internally and externally
    • Identify highly qualified candidates to fill technical positions in
    • Assist to recruit for scientific positions as needed
    • Work with Program Managers to devise a recruiting plan and create a detailed positiondescription
    • Creatively source active and passive, high-quality talent; develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, including direct sourcing and internet recruitment,leveraging industry networks; continue to build a talent pipeline
    • Negotiate and close talent with offers andstarts
    • Document and report in Axle's applicant trackingsystem
    • Become a credible and trusted talent advisor to hiring managers.
    • Screening and vetting of candidatestelephonically
    • Create strong relationships within the scientific community within and outside NIH.
    • Assist in responding to proposals by identifying the right profiles and building a pipeline of vetted resources

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree and at least two years of technical or scientific recruiting experience or government contracting recruiting experience
    • Familiarity with NIH. Work experience at NIH is strongly preferred.
    • Team player who is driven to exceedgoals
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
    • Ability to fully recruit once a job description is received with minimal supervision anddirection
