- Analyze the impact of Scope 3 materials/systems in Amazon Ops buildings
- Understand design and construction of mass timber buildings, including structural impacts and supply chain
- Manage scope 3 materials such as insulation, glazing, and interior finishes in building core and shell
- Conduct quantity takeoffs, MAC, NPV, and payback analysis for scope 3 materials
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project goals align for success
- Plan strategically and anticipate challenges related to new building technologies
- Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Analyze the impact of Scope 3 building materials on Amazon Ops' carbon footprint
- Lead discussions with vendors, report on project status, and ensure successful project completion
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Travel up to 25% as needed

Are you ready to lead initiatives to reduce Amazon's carbon footprint through innovative construction and engineering solutions?
The Global Engineering Services (GES) team at Amazon is seeking a Program Manager, Sustainability. This role involves researching and evaluating scope 3 building materials and strategies.
The Program Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of technologies and strategies, from integration to implementation, tracking, and reporting on Amazon Ops sites. Collaboration with construction teams, sustainability departments, and external stakeholders is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
5+ years of project management experience
3+ years of process improvement experience using data and metrics
Experience working cross-functionally
Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Construction Management/Engineering
3+ years in Construction/Design and Sustainability
3+ years of experience with Excel, Scope 3 tracking platforms, and Architecture/Construction software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Architecture
6+ years in project management
LEED AP certification or direct zero carbon building project experience
Effective communication with executive leadership
Prior experience in logistics, construction, engineering, or supply chain management
