Job Description: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

SLPs work as part of a team of interventionists (ECEs, SLPs, OTs, Psychologists) working directly with infants at risk for developmental disabilities in-clinic. SLPs will work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in infants and children (0-3 years of age). SLPs will conduct an initial assessment to determine specific communication disorders, speech language disorders, swallowing disorders or feeding disorders. The assessment should be best practices and based on information that is gathered from different sources to fully grasp the child's speech pathology needs and determine the best course of treatment. An assessment report will be written based on the findings during the assessment. An intervention plan will be formalized from the assessment, and the intervention team will be trained on the plan. SLPs will provide program implementation oversight, individualized speech therapy, and conduct parent training. SLPs will write Speech progress reports summarizing progress. SLPs will report directly to the Program Director.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay Range: Around $60 per hour

Work Hour & Travel:

Work hours/days are flexible and position hours are defined as on a "work as needed" basis but with a set schedule.
Work locations: clinic, client home

Must be patient, excellent with children, possess good social skills, be tolerant and empathetic towards people, and have a natural desire to want to help children with special needs.
Must have a clean driving and criminal record.
