- Care for patients with medical-surgical conditions while utilizing telemetry.
- Perform NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, and telemetry strip interpretation at the bedside.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and ancillary services to deliver seamless patient care.
- Engage with patients and their families in providing care support and education.
- Assist with the application and interpretation of tele-life monitoring systems.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; at least 1 year in a telemetry specialty.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications, with NIH Stroke Scale certification required before starting.
- Telemetry certification preferred.
- Previous travel experience is required, ideally with two assignments in 300+ bed facilities or experience in a UVMHN acute care facility.
- Epic experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
