The primary purpose of this position is to communicate a desired message through the development and execution of audiovisual productions (. videotaped and live television programs; live and prerecorded radio broadcasts; motion picture films; and/or other similar productions).

Duties

Uses audio-visual technology to create productions ranging from news features, public service announcements and interactive productions, to training and informational videos on virtually any topic.

Direct broadcast quality television and web productions utilizing digital audiovisual editing systems.

Edits broadcast quality television and web productions utilizing audiovisual editing systems.

Coordinates and edits original material collected from numerous outside sources where there is little, if any, direction as to the content and design.

Assists in carrying out the public affairs program.
