We are looking for a full-time
Dental Patient Coordinator
who can travel between our Lakewood and Westminster locations in Colorado for an established specialty dental office. Candidates who are also bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
Locally owned and operated since 1979, we're the original all-in-one dental and implant center serving Colorado.
Each Mile High Denture & Implant Center has onsite dental labs, 3-D CT scanners, and a team of dental and implant specialists.
We seek a polished and patient-centricDental Patient Coordinator
to help us deliver a distinctive patient experience to each patient from start to finish.
The
Patient Coordinator's
primary role is to manage a smooth end-to-end patient scheduling experience. This role would include optimizing doctors' schedules by scheduling patients' treatment according to pre-set templates or doctors' instructions.
We are a fast-paced office that goes above and beyond for our patients, and we seek a dynamic, self-motivated individual who can fulfill these expectations.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering an outstanding customer experience
Optimizing the Doctors' and Hygienists' schedules through efficient and smooth scheduling
Managing our technology-driven patient recall system (e.g., automated pre-recorded calling systems, automated e-mail, and text messaging systems)
Customer experience leadership
Answer the phone with a smile, make and encourage appointments - and maintain Scheduling Institute Certification.
Ensure new patients are given priority on the schedule and appropriately noted on the schedule (e.g., make every effort to cater to the new patients scheduling requests)
Make sure emergency patients are offered the immediate attention they are requesting.
Maintains a short notice "call list" to use in case of cancellations
Become a "master" at implementing/using the Scheduling Institute's tactics to make appointments and strongly discourage broken appointments
Ensures that patients wait no longer than 10 minutes before being seen, handling it with the chairside assistant, the doctor, or whoever can get them in.
Keep patients accurately informed and comforted about the expected wait time (e.g., focus your attention on putting them at ease and feeling welcomed)Make sure the phone is answered within three rings
Check and return all voice messages on the same day
Full-time employees working over 30 hours weekly are eligible for medical, dental, vision, PTO, holiday pay, life insurance, employee assistance programs, and matching 401k.
Salary Description
$20-$23/hr
