    Acquisition Analyst II / Small Business Professional

    Location: Springfield, VA (Government Customer)

    Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance Required

    Work Environment:
    This position is be 80% remote work.

    Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for acquisitions and small business support? Our team is on the hunt for an Acquisition Analyst II / Small Business Professional. This role is ideal for an individual ready to use their skills to make a significant impact, manage a broad range of programs, and support the growth of small businesses.

    The candidate will perform; but will not be limited to; the following responsibilities:
    • Implement and manage a variety of socioeconomic programs, including but not limited to
    • Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB)
    • Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB)
    • Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and more.
    • Prepare, present, and manage training materials related to these programs.
    • Perform market research, review subcontracting plans, and complete 8(a) Offer Letters for the Small Business Administration (SBA).
    • Conduct DD2579 quality assurance acquisition document checks prior to OSBP Small Business Professional review.
    • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing the outreach calendar, and drafting correspondence and write articles on specific topics.
    • Actively participate in outreach events, stay current on statutes, regulations, and policies, and manage various outreach calendars.
    • Plan, organize, and execute outreach events such as Industry Days, training sessions and Brown Bag sessions.
    • Provide inputs for monthly status reports.
    • Systems and database administration for the DTRA vendor databases.
    • Assist with the production of documentation to support new acquisitions and follow on contracts. Such information and documentation include Market Research, Acquisition Plans, and Statements of Objectives.
    Required:
    • Comprehensive understanding of Small Business Statutes, regulations, and policy, along with the DoD Mentor-Protg Program (MPP), Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs, and FAR/DFARS.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong understanding of the DoD acquisition process.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows Office Suite, SharePoint, and SalesForce CRM Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
    • Plan, coordinate and facilitate industry conferences and information sessions relative to developing acquisition requirements and instructions.
