    We're looking for a Recruitment Consultants to join our well-established, highly successful, committed and friendly team providing temporary staff to the construction industry.

    No previous experience of either recruitment or construction is required. Flexible working is an important part of our offering, with people generally working between home and the office.

    Corepeople has been providing staffing solutions to the North East's building, civil engineering and housebuilding industries for over thirty years.

    On average each of our colleagues have been with us for well over a decade, and between us we have hundreds of years of home grown experience to pass on to each new recruit.

    Role
    Recruitment Consultants providing temporary staff operate in a fast-paced arena which is often exciting, occasionally frustrating, but always rewarding. They are responsible both for finding and filling vacancies, and managing their own temporary workforce. We are currently looking for Recruitment Consultants to join our successful Trades & Labour team. Few other roles, if any, will offer as much responsibility from the outset.

    As such we look for people who feel a sense of ownership for their work and enjoy the feeling of providing a valuable service to everyone they come into contact with.

    Experience Required
    No one background makes a good recruitment consultant.

    Some of our best people have had previous careers in sales, travel, car hire, the armed forces, administration and even social care.

    Or they haven't had a career, and join us straight from school or university.

    There are, however, certain characteristics we look for – our people need to be:

    Outgoing
    Hard-working
    Organised
    Motivated
    Personable
    We also look for a strong sense of teamwork and genuine interest in both people and industry.
    Successful candidates will also hold a driving licence and be proficient in English, Maths and IT.
    Remuneration
    Basic starting salaries can range from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    Commission is uncapped, and the minimum first year OTE is at least £30,000, although for many earnings significantly outstrip this.

    In addition, successful candidates will receive pension, private medical insurance, permanent health insurance and life assurance as standard.
