Job Summary
Seeking a skilled RN for their 21-bed MedSurg/Oncology unit. This unit offers a specialized focus on
post-surgical oncology intervention
(e.g., mastectomies, prostatectomies) alongside general medical-surgical care. This is an

Key Responsibilities
Post-Operative Cancer Care:
Provide expert monitoring and recovery support for patients following tumor surgical interventions.
Drip Titration:
Manage and titrate specialized infusions including
Heparin, Lidocaine, and TPN
(Total Parenteral Nutrition).
Patient Assessment:
Monitor stable medical/surgical patients with a focus on wound healing, pain management, and early detection of complications.
Telemetry Monitoring:
Utilize central telemetry; while monitor techs are present, RNs are responsible for recognizing and acting on cardiac rhythm changes.
Documentation:
Maintain high standards of accuracy within
Epic EMR .
