Skillforce Inc. is hiring for electrician helpers in Staunton, VA. Pay is $20 - $24 per hour based on experience and skillset. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of electrical helper experience.


Electrician Helper Responsibilities:

Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, installing, and repairing electrical wiring and systems.

Perform duties such as:
install lighting, pull wire/MC cables, rough-ins, receptacles, panel work, conduit bending
Knowledge of electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire
Working with voltages up to 480v
Run and bend conduit (90's, 45's, offsets, 3 & 4 point saddles)
Terminate panels
Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards
Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems


Electrician Helper Qualifications:
2+ years electrical experience
Your own tools and PPE
A valid Driver's License and your own transportation
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring

Salary:
$20 - $24 per hour


Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday through Friday
Day shift
