Essential Functions:

• Model, promote, and reward the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools
• Maintain service department and restore facility areas to company standards
• Ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain department vehicles for proper safe operation
• Maintain shop area cleanliness
• Keep outside entrances and sidewalks clean
• Communicate with the service manager/supervisor regarding vehicle parts disposal
• Understand emergency plans for hazardous waste spills
• Adhere to all company policies for hazardous materials
• Perform daily walk-around inspections of Service Department vehicles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• General knowledge of the trucking industry is useful
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated individual
• Ability to operate full-size pickups and simple machines

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Travel:

• None
• Valid driver's license or CDL class A with air brakes preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Employee must stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist
• Employee may need to climb and lift over 50 lbs. frequently
• Constant visual requirements

Work Environment:

• Duties are performed inside and outside the building(s)
• Exposure to various environments like dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise, and vibrations
• Potential exposure to mechanical, chemical, electrical, and fire hazards
