Description
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH) is seeking a full-time board eligible / board certified fellowship-trained Non-Operative Pediatric Sports Medicine physician.
As part of the Pediatric Sports Medicine team, you will join two Pediatric Sports Medicine Surgeons and a Pediatric Sports Medicine Physician Assistant.
The Newton-Wellesley Sports Medicine (NWSM) practice is located at 978 Worcester Street in Wellesley, MA, and encompasses the full spectrum of sports medicine care surgical care, non-operative care, imaging, and casting and splinting.
NWSM provides game coverage to Boston College Athletics, as well as other local professional, college and high school programs.As part of the NWSM practice, the new physician will provide direct patient care consistent with the clinical privileges granted by NWH and its Medical Staff, participate in on-call requirements as required by the Chair, and participate in game coverage as defined by the Chair.
The new physician may also be asked to serve on some hospital committees, and to participate in quality & safety initiatives.
