- Install network, telephone and cabling with a minimum of disruption of classes, offices, or work areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems with telephone, network, and cabling; restoring use with appropriate expediency.
- Test and certify cable at project completion point to ensure the installation is ready for users.
- Determine material orders; price materials; create requisitions and purchase orders: order materials for new construction and remodel projects.
- Review and validate work orders to ensure appropriate materials and methods will be used to satisfy request.
- Consult with end users concerning telephone and network needs during construction and installation of wiring.
- Manage critical time frames for job completion; accommodate changing plans and specifications during job installation.
- Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.
- This position requires a minimum of three years experience working as a data cabling technician.
- Oklahoma Class D Driver's License
- Bilingual is a plus

Enable Tulsa Technology Center facilities to maintain a necessary state of readiness for staff and students by providing timely installation and repair of network, telephone and cabling systems in new construction and remodels.

Information Technology - 12 Month Contract
Hiring Range:
$42,859 to $47,957 annually dependent on experience, plus additional $7,200 compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.
