    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of recent home health experience and required proficiency in OASIS and HCHB for a day shift home health assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Home health setting with a focus on geriatric patientsTypical caseload of 5-7 patients per day, to be confirmed during interviewDay shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pmService area covers up to a 60-mile radius from the officeNo call requiredCharting completed using HCHB (Homecare Homebase)

    EMR; experience requirediPad provided for documentationMileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rateDress code requires scrubs of any color; jeans are not permittedAll charting must be completed by 9:00 am the following morningJob duties include delivering OT services in home environments and meeting weekly productivity expectationsApplicants must not be first-time travelersLocal and travel candidates are both accepted at the travel rateRequested time off must be submitted with applicationTravel pairs are accepted but each therapist will be assigned a separate territory and must have their own transportationFormer perm employees must be separated for at least 6 months and require HR approval to return as travelers

    Requirements
    Active Occupational Therapist license required for considerationMinimum 1 year of recent home health OT experience requiredOASIS experience requiredProficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredActive driver's license and personal transportation requiredMust be flexible with territory assignmentsTimely documentation and communication are mandatoryCompletion of Hospice/Home Health Checklist requiredLicense required if applicable
