Job summary
This position has required testing that must be completed prior to the closing date. The job of Special Programs Education Assistant is done for under direction of assigned personnel assists tutors and trains special education students in classroom or similar learning situation providing personal care assistance performing classroom clerical tasks in support instructional process.Assists special education students other identified students reading explain words arts crafts classroom activities individual assignments etc purpose participating classroom activities. Attends meetings requested inservice training workshops IEPs etc receiving conveying information.
Instructs special education students one on one small groups math groups proper examples reading behavioral skills daily living skills writing verbal skills etc assisting making progress on their IEP goals.
