    Description

    The Business System Analyst role is a specialist in complex technical, business matters, and industry best practices. The Business System Analyst uses skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address organizational challenges and opportunities.

    Duties include consulting with users to identify current operating policies, procedures, and common-use scenarios to support system requirements, solution functionality, and implementation. Producing documentation to describe system configuration, workflows, logic, third-party system relationships, and change management methodologies.

    Responsibilities Include

    • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Work with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, using a variety of data analysis and organization tools.
    • Engage with stakeholders and team members to address the changing needs of the business.
    • Solid system use-case understanding and testing skills for use in troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing new systems or features within web and mobile applications.
    • Oversee implementation of projects from inception to completion.
    • Document and participate in epic and feature project design discussions to ensure these meet organizational, operational, and compliance needs.
    • Conduct training and operational procedure reviews to increase productivity and functionality.
    • Manage and communicate system changes.
    • Create and present reports to team members and stakeholders to support recommendations.
    Requirements Include

    • Strong knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technicians.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to break projects down into time-manageable sections to deliver features to clients.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a group.
    • Keen leadership including the ability to assume a team lead role for the workgroup as project requirements dictate.
    • Able to drive projects from inception to completion, resolve problems, build consensus, and utilize company leaders to clear obstacles.
    • Project management using tools to track and report on project progress, costs, and milestones.
