    Job Overview

    XPECT Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to support our Federal customer out of Huntsville, AL.

    The Engineer will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining complex communication solutions and provides expert level Tier 3/4 troubleshooting support focused on all enterprise integrated UC, voice, video, and A/V capabilities on all enterprise enclaves.

    This position will work with remote users to successfully configure and maintain connections with existing video conferencing equipment.

    Core Responsibilities

    Assures system security focus.
    Resolves OS installation
    System patching, and STIG implementation issues
    Resolves other complex system level engineering challenges as required.
    Proactively addresses operations, performance, and security issues.
    Travel to locations for installation and/or troubleshooting systems as needed
    Requirements

    Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.

    A Counter Intelligence Polygraph is required after start.

    8 years of experience working with voice and video systems and implementing connections between voice and video media.
    3 years of experience engineering, deploying, and maintaining complex system configurations based on Microsoft and Cisco infrastructures
    Strong troubleshooting skills to pinpoint and resolve calling issues,
    Ability to work with other system disciplines as required.
    Knowledge of foundation technologies, protocols, and standards for phone systems, VTC systems, streaming video systems, and network components
    Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through email
    Ability to travel to locations for installations and/or troubleshooting systems (only as needed)

    Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications

    Knowledge of Oracle SBC technology
    Related Microsoft Certifications
    Related Cisco Certifications
