    Responsibilities:

    Primary role is to function as the Sr Bid Manager for US Government bids:

    • Central point of contact for RFPs.
    • Review all customer requirements.
    • Work with sales on solution and messaging.
    • Project Manager for the Bid and Proposal process from receipt of request through submission to customer.
    • Coordinate all internal resources in support of the response; Product Management, Technical Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Services, Contracts, etc.
    • Assist in identifying and evaluationg subcontractors.
    • Build financial model and work with finance on final approval.
    • Develop new content for proposals as relates to new products and/or features.
    • Responsible for all volumes as per RFP instructions.
    • Coordinate and participate in Management Review.
    • Organize and track all requests and responses using company databases.
      Ability to mange to tight deadlines.
    • Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs; 15%

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Support internal departemental processes and procedures to maintain ISO certifications.
    • Develop and manage initiatives for process improvement, such as proposal templates and or content.
    • Understand status of performance to metrics and provide feedback on improvements in performance to standards and methods for improving efficiency
    • Continuous learning in commercial and technical understanding of business and products.

    • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
    • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience with US Federal Government bids.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Understanding of basic contract language
    • Proven leadership and management experience
    • Experience interacting with executive level staff
    • Foreign Language proficiency a plus
    • Domestic and/or International travel required 10% Must travel internationally and be able to acquire all necessary travel documents

    • Computer with Internet and Network Access
    • All applicable AS9100 and Departmental Sales Processes and applicable corporate processes
