This position will be responsible for, or play a key role in, analyzing, maintaining, and improving information systems, applications, and data, providing application and systems support, including technology enhancements and upgrades, and data analytics, leveraging data to uncover insights and to support strategic planning.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
2. Develop, maintain, and support operations reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data requests.
3. Support data extraction, reporting, and dashboards.
4. Ensure data accuracy and access controls.
5. Support and maintain core banking systems and related applications.
6. Analyze system issues and coordinate resolution.
7. Assist IT with risk assessments and audits.
8. Support access controls and compliance activities.
9. Lead new initiatives that align with organizational goals and drive process improvement.
10. Explore and evaluate AI applications to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

The ideal candidate for this position will have an associate's degree in information systems or data analytics, with 3 years of previous experience in data reporting and analytics, computer support and administration, or a mix of the two. Previous experience in the banking or financial industry is preferred. Applicants must also have a valid driver's license, good decision making and problem solving skills, ability to analyze, interpret, and make decisions based off data points and reports, ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with repair vendors, ability to input and retrieve data from a variety of computer systems, ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data relating to customers and employees, have exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and will exemplify our core values of deliver an exceptional experience, shine through service, lead with integrity, create positive impact, and foster genuine relationships.

Position Summary:
The IT Analyst supports and enhances the Bank's technology environment by analyzing, maintaining, and improving information systems, applications, and data used across the organization.
This role serves as a key link between technology operations and business users, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
The IT Analyst provides application and systems support, assists with technology enhancements and upgrades, supports data reporting and analysis, and contributes to risk management, security, and compliance activities.
Working closely with the Information Technology department, vendors, and internal stakeholders, the IT Analyst helps identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements that increase efficiency, support strategic goals, and deliver a positive experience for employees and customers.
The IT Analyst will also play a key role in data analytics, leveraging data to uncover insights, support strategic planning, and measure project outcomes.
This includes gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources, building dashboards or reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making is embedded in project execution and business analysis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Analysis and Operational Support
Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and support operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data requests.
Translate operational needs into technical requirements.
Collaborate with technology staff and business users to define data requirements and reporting needs
Lead meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather insights and define needs.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development and implementation teams.
Data, Reporting, and Analytics
Support data extraction, reporting, and dashboards.
Ensure data accuracy and access controls.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development and implementation teams.
Assist in identifying opportunities for automation, reporting efficiencies, and improved data usage
IT Systems and Application Support
Support and maintain core banking systems and related applications.
Analyze system issues and coordinate resolution.
Assist with system upgrades and configuration changes.
Manage and support AI initiatives
Security, Risk, and Compliance Support
Assist with IT risk assessments and audits.
Support access controls and compliance activities.
Innovation and Strategic Initiatives
Lead new initiatives that align with organizational goals and drive process improvement.
Explore and evaluate AI applications to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Pilot emerging technologies and assess their feasibility for broader adoption.
Facilitate user trainings for new or updated processes.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide IT support as needed.
Microsoft 365 administration and support.
Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing, including validation of data outputs.
Maintain documentation related to systems, procedures, and reporting processes.
Support technology risk assessments, audits, and regulatory examinations as requested.
Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives, including improved use of data and reporting tools.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Relationships and Scope:
Reports directly to the Vice President–Technology.
Works closely with bank employees across all departments to support, analyze, and maintain technology systems and data, ensuring solutions and insights align with operational and strategic objectives.
Collaborates regularly with department leaders and technology personnel to analyze system performance, support data reporting and analytics needs, and address technology issues or enhancements.
May have occasional contact with vendors, regulators, government agencies, the Bank's CPA firm, and other external parties. Has access to highly confidential customer, financial, and general Bank information.Measures of Performance:

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Associate degree in Information Systems or Data Analytics is preferred.
A minimum of three years experience with data reporting and analytics, computer support and administration, or a mix of the two.
A minimum of two years working in the banking or financial industry is preferred. Experience with core banking systems is preferred. Experience with M365 application suite is preferred.Individual must possess:
good common sense and problem solving skills; ability to analyze, interpret, and make decisions on various data points and reports; knowledge of various equipment; ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with repair vendors; knowledge of banking procedures; excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor and appearance; ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people, dealing effectively with difficult customers and employees; ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress; willingness to assume responsibility and solve problems; ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data relating to customer and employees; a strong sense of attention to detail; ability to input and retrieve data from a variety of computer systems
Must be able to:
compose correspondence and reports; sit for extended periods of time; attend occasional overnight, out-of-town meetings. Must be able to handle stress, prioritize multiple projects being done at the same time.
Equipment Operated:
Personal Computer, Windows Operation systems, Microsoft 365 application suite, additional non-Microsoft PC applications, dual monitors, mobile devices, video conferencing equipment, data analytics tools, automation and AI software, 10-key calculator, telephone, Fedline applications, fax, printers, copier, etc.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed largely sitting at a desk in a pleasant office environment with minimal chance for personal injury. Long periods of sitting required (at least 3-5 hours per day).
Very regular contact with employees. Frequent mental and visual concentration for computer usage, and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information. Work hours are normally during regular business hours and will average at least 40 hours a week. On-call rotation for Saturday morning support as well as occasional unscheduled evening and weekend work.
