    Job Overview:


    The role is for Principal Structural Engineer with responsibility for structural design and analysis for Onshore Oil & Gas, LNG, and Renewables Industry projects including deliverables such as structures, piperacks, modules, foundations, etc.

    The work includes conceptual studies, FEEDs, estimates, detail design, and construction support.

    The successful candidate is able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts, and can be assigned as the civil / structural lead on a project.


    Responsibilities for Internal CandidatesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
    Capable of leading a civil / structural project teamPrepare philosophies, basis of design, and specificationsInterface with geotechnical engineers and implement geotechnical recommendationsProvide input in support of permitting effortsPrepare material requisition and subcontract scope of workPerform technical bid evaluation and supplier document reviewProvide engineering manhour and quantity estimatesCoordinate with supporting officesPrepare and check calculationsIdentify potential changes, and track engineering quantities against budgetProvide schedule and progress updatesSupport constructionMentor junior engineersQualifications for Internal CandidatesEssential Qualifications and Education:BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited universityRegistered Professional EngineerMinimum 15 years civil / structural engineering experienceMinimum 10 years civil / structural engineering experience on EPC projects in the oil & gas industryMinimum 5 years civil / structural engineering experience in lead rolesKnowledge of civil / structural engineering codes and standardsProficient in detail civil / structural engineering and design work procedures and processesProficient in civil / structural analysis softwareStrong communication skill and professional ethics to interface with clients and project teamPreferred Qualifications and Education:Position is primarily for onshore civil / structural lead type rolesLarge module experience is a benefitField and fabrication / module yard experience is a benefitPosted: 4/16/2024 EA#J-18808-Ljbffr
