    Required Skills:
    Current and unrestricted North Carolina medical license
    Active NC DEA registration
    NC Medicaid and Medicare/PECOS enrollment
    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    Proven experience delivering babies; submission of case logs from the past 24 months
    Active NC Medicaid Credential
    No recent or open malpractice cases
    Full vaccination status against COVID-19
    Strong communication and critical thinking skills
    Ability to perform emergent C-sections and GYN procedures efficiently


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience in high-risk delivery management
    Familiarity with hospitalist and support staff collaboration
    Ability to coordinate around high-volume deliveries
    Previous work in hospital-based settings


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience
    Proven record of handling emergent obstetric and gynecologic procedures
    Experience working in Level 1 nursery environments


    Other Requirements:
    Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital
    Willingness to work on-call shifts, including 24-hour coverage from March 23rd to March 27th, 2026
    Ability to perform on-call obstetric and gynecologic duties, including emergent C-sections and GYN procedures
    Ability to round on patients and coordinate with hospital support teams
    Willingness to submit detailed case logs and relevant documentation to facilitate review


    This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage (W-2), robust referral bonus programs, paid sick time, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, and travel expenses (up to $500).
