- Contribute to design and development projects to transition the business to a DevOps culture
- Manage tools essential for the CI/CD pipeline and evaluate requirements from onboarding requests
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to create an infrastructure that ensures environment availability and configuration consistency
- Maintain tools for continuous monitoring in the UPT ecosystem
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities as per UO policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or IT, focusing on Software Development and DevOps principles
- Experience with setting up and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge of Container technology like Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher
- Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell
- Ability to debug applications using logging tools
- Experience with enterprise application integration
- Familiarity with Linux Operating System and Windows IIS Servers
- Desirable Tools Knowledge: Atlassian Suite, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to assess and integrate new technologies into existing processes
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Experience engaging with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
- Additional knowledge in ServiceNow, Elastic APM, Prometheus, Grafana, SolarWinds, SQL is a plus
- Agile Certifications like Scrum Master are advantageous
