    Description
    SAIC is seeking a Mongo Database Administrator to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career.

    Position onsite 2 days a week in Ashburn, VA

    Job Responsibilities

    Work with dev teams and dev-ops teams to set up and manage MongoDB Clusters.

    Work with MongoDB professional services to architect optimal solutions for various projects.

    Work with MongoDB support through ticketing system to solve complex problems.

    Work with dev-ops to manage Cloud Resources like EC2, EBS, NFS etc.

    Qualifications


    Required:
    BS and 10 years of Unix Administration and/or RDBMS administration.

    Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust (Requires U.S. Citizenship)

    1 year of MongoDB Administration, either Enterprise Advanced or Community Edition.

    Good understanding of MongoDB Sharding concepts and skills to provide optimal configs.

    Experience managing Cloud resources for running MongoDB Clusters.

    Ability to write MongoDB queries including aggregates.

    Experience with various data back-up and restore methodologies.

    Understanding of MongoDB security and user management.


    Desired:
    Experience managing multi-cluster MongoDB environment with Ops Manager or Cloud manager.

    Experience with MongoDB Atlas.

    Experience with MongoDB tools like Relational Migrator, Cluster-to-Cluster sync etc.

    Good Understanding of Kubernetes and Operators.

    Experience with MongoDB Operator.

    RDBMS administration and ability to analyze and improve performance of SQL queries.

    Experience setting up LDAP and single sign-on for database systems.

    SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
