Description:Auto Mechanic preferably with diagnostics experience but not required. Broad range of experience to include transmission work, Engine work of various types foreign or domestic vehicles. No diesel experience necessary. Brake repair, Troubleshooting, Transmission and engine replacements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:5-10 years of experience as an auto mechanic or auto technician Valid Drivers License Strong diagnostic capabilities.

Does not need to have diesel experience (drivability:
emissions, glow plugs, cooling, no engine repairs) ASE certifications not required. Would encourage to try to get ASE certified with the assistance of Alamo. Company will pay for advanced training and certifications.

Ideal candidate will have a heavy knowledge in diagnostic technologies, the ability to execute repair on those AND have a drive to continue developing via certifications and training.

Not a good candidate would be the opposite which would come across as an independent worker that just wants to do the work and get out.
