    Magnetic Resonance Imaging InstructorAdvanced Modality Program, Non-Credit Trainer (Part Time Temporary Applicant Pool)

    Position Reports to:
    Temporary Part-Time Manager of Radiography Programs


    • This position requires the candidate to submit the PA State Police Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprints prior to their first day of employment.

    Basic Purpose of Job:


    An instructor of MRI assumes responsibility for classroom and laboratory instruction as well as teaching, advising, and service requirements within the Certificate MRI Program.

    Courses may include Cross Sectional Anatomy, Patient Care, Pathology and Imaging Procedures, MRI Safety and Patient Care


    Duties:

    • Support the vision and mission of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
    • Direct in-person lab instruction and online courses.
    • Develop and deliver courses within the Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
    • Mentor and advise students in collaboration with the Program Director and other college staff as needed with regard to academic progress and professional development.
    • Work cooperatively and collegially with all faculty and staff involved in the MRI program and across the institution.
    • Carry out other assignments and duties as assigned by the Advanced Modality Manager, Dean of Health Sciences, and Senior Leadership Team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree required
    • ARM RIT certification or ARRT certification required
    • 4 years of imaging experience required
    • 2 years of teaching experience preferred
    • Strong Computer Application skills
    • Knowledge of a Learning Management System, preferred
    • Experience teaching online preferred
