    Support Center - IrvingThe Sr.

    Financial Analyst will support financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting for sales, margin, fulfillment expenses, and General & Administrative expenses for our Education, Enterprise, and Online Framing businesses.

    This position will work directly with the business leaders and finance and accounting peers to monitor all monthly expenses and ensure that expenses are recognized in a timely manner.

    This position will be responsible for linking operational metrics to financial recognition and working with business operators to forecast monthly financial results and explain variances to forecast.

    This position will be involved in testing the replacement of two of our financial reporting systems, as well as building reports using various reporting tools to provide critical business insight.

    This position utilizes strong financial policy and process knowledge as well as skills and expertise with a variety of technologies to improve processes and accuracy of the financial forecasts and plans.

    Major Activities
    Financial reporting and analysis, including identification, communication, and follow-up of financial and operational opportunities
    Work closely with

    business leaders

    to support the goals and objectives of the business. Also, work with business partners to achieve timely and accurate completion of the monthly forecast and annual budgets

    Timely and accurate completion of journal entry supporting documentation for the monthly close process as it relates to the operations.

    Accounting close responsibility each month. Assist in closing books for the businesses related operating expenses. Research variances between actual, budget, and forecast to ensure the department stays within budget guidelines
    Lead the development and support of the department's KPI reporting that will combine financial and operational metrics
    Prepare executive level presentations that will summarize operational and financial performance on a monthly basis, including effectively communicating

    variances

    to forecast
    Aid in the creation of a weekly dashboard for leadership to monitor progress throughout the month
    Provide support for other external reporting projects such as census reporting, investor presentations, and special projects.
    Other duties as assigned
    Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    Strong MS Office skills (Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
    4+ years of

    finance or

    accounting experience
    Fluent in financial statement analysis with experience in forecasting and financial reporting
    Excellent spreadsheet skills required along with strong financial and data management acumen
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
    Must be business minded, with a desire to drive business performance and financial results.
    Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (Vary By Group)
    Preferred Education
    Knowledge of Essbase, Oracle Financials,

    Alteryx,

    Google BiqQuery , Google Analytics, Looker and

    Power BI

    a plus
    Experience in retail or eCommerce finance a plus.
