The Cyber and SIGINT Solutions Operation at Leidos has an opportunity for a Global Network Language Analyst – Level 3 to work at various locations such as Ft Meade.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the customer language mission.

In this mission you will conduct

scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials; recovering essential elements of information; gisting, translating and transcribing; compiling and updating operational working aids and databases; and drafting intelligence reports.

The Global Network Language Analyst performs tasks required to exploit communications in the computer network domain and process associated voice and/or graphic language materials in support of NSA/CSS SIGINT and/or national threat operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Performance of the following tasks constitutes acceptable Computer Network Operations (CNO) experience: Translating materials to enable monitoring networks in order to detect precursors/indicators of physical and/or cyber attacks and intrusions, or analyzing cyber incidents; translating materials about developing methods to detect, prevent and/or counter cyber events; translating materials to help identify and characterize CNO threat actors; producing translations to assist in target development and exploiting adversaries' communications for defense of US cyber interests.

Performance of the following tasks constitutes acceptable cryptologic language processing experience:

Within Cryptologic Operations:

scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials; recovering essential elements of information; gisting, translating and transcribing; performing quality control of gists, translations and transcripts; mentoring language analysts in language processing; compiling and updating operational working aids and databases; and drafting intelligence reports.

Basic Qualifications
Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent.

Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in both audio translation and text translation from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English.

Scores from a NSA Civilian Language Test of Record, valid at time of resume submission, may be used as acceptable validation for text translation and audio translation skill level(s).

Skill level shall be documented within two (2) years prior to resume submission
Equivalent of twelve (12) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, computer network operations, and/or related cryptologic experience.


Pay Range:
Pay Range $66, $119,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
