Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Sleep Study Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for attaching electrodes and monitors to patients undergoing sleep studies, monitoring patients throughout the study, documenting observations, collecting data, and reporting information to the physician.

Reports to: Director-Cardiopulmonary

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum education:
Completion of a sleep lab training program preferred

Minimum Work Experience:
Sleep Lab experience preferred

Required Licenses:
Current Respiratory Therapist Licensure to practice in Kentucky preferred
Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required

Required Skills Certifications:
Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date
Must possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to thrive in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Language Skills: Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written
