- Provide skilled nursing care to breast oncology patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, treatments, and supportive therapies as prescribed.
- Conduct thorough assessments of breast oncology patients, monitoring physical and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to track and report patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on breast cancer treatment plans, side effects, and self-care measures.
- Offer emotional support, addressing patient concerns and promoting a positive healing environment.
- Work closely with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
- Current LPN licensure in Oklahoma.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in oncology nursing, with a focus on breast oncology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of breast cancer treatments, medications, and supportive care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
