The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities within a food manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
- Always performs tasks according to Safety and Food Safety Standards.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on production machinery.
- Detects malfunctions in electrical systems such as PLC, relay logic logic controllers AC single/three phase DC systems,
Maintain cleanliness area compliance with sanitation standards food safety regulations.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements SQF GMP HACCP OSHA company policies related to food safety sanitation environmental regulations HACCP Food Safety GMP's Food Fraud/Defense Allergens Organic Gluten Free.
,Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders equipment inspections inventory management Document equipment repairs parts replacements maintenance procedures track equipment history performance Coordinate with production supervisors operators prioritize maintenance tasks minimize disruptions schedules Communicate effectively cross-functional teams engineering quality assurance safety personnel address issues solutions Provide technical assistance training production staff on machine operation repair troubleshooting protocols Perform other duties assigned Minimum Job Requirements High school diploma required Technical school education preferred Related experience industrial manufacturing environment preferably automated food processing plant Experience troubleshooting maintaining electrical mechanical systems Strong mechanical aptitude skills Ability perform electrical repairs PLC relay logic AC single three phase DC systems Proficiency programming Allen-Bradley Siemens development SCADA knowledge understanding control motor drive sensor Knowledge regulation related electrical system Motor drives Industrial sensors Excellent problem-solving skills attention detail Effective communication collaboration team members Work independently prioritize task fast-paced environment Adapt changing priorities learn new technologies needed Perform mechanical system hydraulic pneumatic operate computer record documentation computer-based system Maintain valid California driver license good driving record Flexibility non-standard hours evenings weekends holidays Comply attendance punctuality policy Alertness safe manner Adhere drug alcohol tolerance policy Compliance food safety third-party certification (SQF Gluten-Free Organic etc)
